 Live Scan Fees

Our Live Scan Rolling fee is $30 for each Live Scan performed, this fee is in addition to any DOJ, FBI, CACI, Firearms Eligibility & Application fee's which are due at the time of your Live Scan

For Mobile appointments there may be an additional travel fee added, please contact us for an exact quote.

Some agencies have billing accounts in which the Applicants are only required to pay for the $30 Live Scan Fingerprint Rolling Fee.  

This will be referenced on the Live Scan Form BCII 8016 normally titled “Billing Number” or “Agency Billing Number”.

Please bring the completed "Request for Live Scan Service" Form BCII 8016 – this is provided to you by the requesting agency along with any instructions since different forms are used for each agency.

A valid (non-expired) government-issued photo ID Card (e.g. DMV Driver’s License or ID, Passport, Military ID Card, Alien Registration Card/Green Card Photo ID Card) is required for all Live Scan Services. Please Note: Expired ID information cannot be accepted.

We are not allowed to assist applicants in filling out their Request for Live Scan Service form. The California DOJ rules forbid us from assisting you on your application. In addition, if your information is incomplete or you have a question, we must refer you back to your employment/agency/organization. The requesting agencies and applicant need to make sure that all information is correct  and up to date.

Make sure that the level of service (DOJ / FBI) is clearly indicated on the applicant live scan request form. If no level of service is marked, we can only choose DOJ. Some of the levels are automatically chosen by the Live Scan system, which depends on the type of submitted application. If your agency has an option of FBI and you wish to receive this response, please indicate this option on the applicant live scan fingerprint request form.

Important: What you fill in on the live scan request form dictates your total fees for DOJ, FBI. So, please be sure the right choices have been marked.

We have no control over processing times or the results of which a Live Scan has returned. For questions or a status of processing time please contact your requesting party or the California DOJ.
