California Notary Fees

Maximum California notary fees are governed by the Secretary of State. 

Notary Signatures

$15 –  Acknowledgment (per notary signature)

$15 – Jurat (per notary signature)

Power of Attorney (POA) Package

$25 – Covers one set of Financial & Health POA forms

$10 – Each additional form 

Living Trust

$75 – Covers one signer for one set of living trust documents, notarization & witness signatures

$25 – Each additional signer

Loan Signing 

$125 – First set of loan documents (purchase, refinance), notarization, travel & FedEx/UPS drop-off

$100 – Second set of loan documents at same signing

Additional Fees

Mobile Service (non-refundable deposit required once appointment is confirmed)

$25 – Covers time and travel

$1 per mile – Additional mileage over 25 miles round trip

After Hours

$20 – Outside normal business hours (9am to 8pm Weekdays, 11am to 5pm Weekends)

Cancellation

$25 – A cancellation fee is due and payable if a signer is physically unable to sign, or refuses to sign once appointment has begun.
