Policies & Regulations, Liability, Where and When you can carry, Single vs Group threat, Shoot/Don’t Shoot, When to draw VS use your Firearm, Differences between a Pistol and a Revolver, Clearing Jams and Misfires, Firearm Maintenance, Firearms Storage.
Firearms Personal Protection & Tactics
The Firearms Personal Protection class is designed solely to protect yourself while carrying a Firearm. There are many different threats that can happen and you must be prepared for them. This class is to give you a better idea of your personal protection to prevent your Firearm being taken from you or used against you or just being lost in a struggle.
Training Modules: Weapon Protection, Carry Procedures, Types of Holsters, Weapon Retention (Standing with a physical struggle), Weapon Retention (On the Ground with a physical struggle), Live action drills to prevent your Firearm from being taken away from you.
Firearms Self Defense & Tactics
This class is based on the event you must use your Firearm. We expand on topics from the Personal Protection class to start off the Self Defense Class. This class will help you make the best decisions of what to do in the event you must use your Firearm to protect your life or the life of someone else.
Training Modules: Draw Techniques, Holster Choice, Carry Position, Cover VS Concealment, Aiming and Firing your Weapon, Knowing your surroundings, Reloading and clearing Jams, Tunnel Vision and Stress, Aftercare if you have discharged your Firearm.
*Must have taken and passed the Firearms Personal Protection & Tactics class before you can take this class
CCW Training - State of CA
16 hours Classroom Gun Safety and then Range Qualification.
These courses cover firearm safety, handling, shooting techniques, and relevant laws.
A live-fire range qualification is required, which includes a shooting qualification test and a demostration of firearms handling proficiency.
